6 Step Process to Solar Energy Production & Energy Efficiency
A Managing Partner of American Solar Electric Systems will come to your location to take a holistic view of your home, energy consumption history, your concerns for the future, and your long-term investment goals. This first person you meet from our management team will be your point of contact from Step 1 through Step 6 and beyond. With the information that is gathered from the moment we first speak to you, we create an Energy Action Plan to immediately start cost savings based upon your unique needs. We want you to be completely satisfied that you made the right decision by hiring us. We want you to be assured that we are the right solar contractor for you. Most importantly, that you trust us to guide you and insure that you will continue to reap the rewards of Solar Energy for the life of your home or business. Here's how it works....
STEP 1 - Preparation - Our initial conversation will allow us to get to know some of the specifics of your physical location. This will also allow you to ask some pre-qualifying questions about who we are and we will ask some pre-qualifying questions of you as well. Once we have established that this would be a good fit for both us, we'll set an appointment to meet with you at your home or business. Before we meet with you for the site inspection, we will do a pre-site inspection analysis of your home or business. By utilizing multiple industry tools to research your location and surrounding areas with satellite imagery software, we can get the "30 thousand foot view" of your location to see what our options are and have some information for you to review on our first visit.

STEP 2 - Analysis
We will come out to your home or business at your convenience to conduct a site inspection and analysis. We will need to gather more information than a tape measure can provide so we will ask you a few questions about your usage, needs, goals, motivating factors, concerns and answer any questions you have for us. Our Consultants will do this on your schedule. That means if you can only meet with us in the evening or on Saturday or Sunday, we will meet you when it is most convenient for you.

STEP 3 - Design - Based upon all of the information we have gathered from you, we will design an Energy Action Plan that will outline in detail our professional recommendations for your specific situation. These may include many solutions to reduce or eliminate unnecessary expenses or wasted resources. If it makes sense on paper and the cost analysis meets your long-term goals and objectives, then we move on to the next step.
STEP 4 - Implementation - Depending upon the solutions that were specifically designed for you and that you have selected for implementation, we will provide you a contract to perform the services at the cost stated and described in the Energy Action Plan. We will discuss financing options, incentive plans, purchase options and go over all warranties. All permits, inspections and city compliance filings and documentation will be handled by us. After that, all we will need from you is a time and day that you want us to commence the work to be completed. Depending upon project size, the install and implementation process could be anywhere from a couple of hours to a couple of days.
STEP 5 - Optimization
When your initial installation is complete, our technicians will optimize your new Solar PV System for maximum energy production. System optimization is essential to get the maximum return on investment from your system and allow it to start paying you back for your investment and ultimately making you money. Once your new system is installed and you have had some time to experience the benefits of your solar PV energy system, we will return to insure your system is performing to it's maximum potential. 99% of the time it will be performing as expected but for some reason it is not, we will adjust and re-optimize it and then teach you how to keep it at maximum energy production levels.
